What is an Apostille?
An Apostille is a type of authentication that is issued for documents intended for use in countries that are parties to the Hague Convention of 1961. This international treaty simplifies the process of utilizing public documents across borders. It certifies the authenticity of the signature on the document, the capacity in which the signer was acting, and identifies the seal or stamp that the document carries which the document bears.
Some types of documents to be Apostilled:
• Birth, Death and Marriage Certificates
• Divorce Decrees
• Adoption Papers
• Travel Documents
• School Transcripts/Diplomas
• Corporate Documents
• Property Records
• Powers of Attorney
• FBI Background Checks
• Passports
• And More...
